Hark! how the bells sweet silver bells All seem to say throw cares away. Christmas is here bringing good cheer To young and old meek and the bold Ding, dong, ding, dong that is their song, With joyful ring all caroling One seems to hear words of good cheer From everywhere filling the air O, how they pound raising the sound Oer hill and dale telling their tale Gaily they ring while people sing Songs of good cheer christmas is here! Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas! Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas! On, on they send on without end Their joyful tone to every home We three kings of Orient are; bearing gifts we traverse afar, field and fountain, moor and mountain, following yonder star. Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas! Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas! On, on they send on without end Their joyful tone to every home

God rest ye merry gentlemen Let nothing you dismay Remember Christ our Savior Was born on Christmas Day To save us all from Satan's pow'r When we were gone astray Oh tidings of comfort and joy Comfort and joy Oh tidings of comfort and joy From God our Heavenly Father A blessed Angel came; And unto certain shepherds Brought tidings of the same, How that in Bethlehem was born The Son of God by Name. O tidings of comfort and joy, Comfort and joy O tidings of comfort and joy
3.
In the bleak midwinter Frosty wind made moan Earth stood hard as iron Water like a stone Snow had fallen Snow on snow on snow In the bleak midwinter Long ago Angels and Arc Angels May have traveled there Cherubim and Seraphim Filled the air But only his Mother In her maiden bliss Worshiped the beloved With a kiss What can I give him? Poor as I am If I were a shepherd I would give to him a lamb If I were a wise man I would do my part But what can I give him I’d give to him my heart
4.
Christmas time is here Happiness and cheer Fun for all that children call Their favorite time of year Snowflakes in the air Carols everywhere Olden times and ancient rhymes Of love and dreams to share Sleigh bells in the air Beauty everywhere Yuletide by the fireside And joyful memories there Christmas time is here families drawing near Oh, that we could always see Such spirit through the year
5.
I don’t have to search too far For that holiday feeling ‘Cause standing right outside my door My heart’s already reeling Much like a Hallmark Christmas film This town’s got magic and charm Could even fall in love today With the boy-next-door farmer In the Christmas City you’ll feel grand Might even catch a snowflake in your hand Window shop on Main Street Take a carriage ride downtown ‘Cause in the Christmas City You are right where you belong In the Christmas City you’ll understand Why folks come far and wide to see firsthand The famous star high up on the hill The glowing hotel lights Yes in the Christmas City You can plan to stay awhile Sweet childhood memories in a holiday dream This place is now my hometown With new traditions ‘neath the evergreen In the Christmas City, my (our) home Where I (we) missed the signs and tried to roam This whole town’s my (our) special place To celebrate and embrace That in the Christmas City I (we are) am right where I (we) belong

about

In the Christmas City, Corinne Mammana’s debut Christmas EP Album and 3rd studio album, commemorates the Christmas season in her hometown of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (nicknamed “the Christmas City”) via a 5-track album of reimagined Christmas songs and original compositions by Mammana. The title track, “In the Christmas City” is one of the original songs by Mammana.

The EP features renowned bass player Gene Perla (worked with Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, to name a few), Sean Gough on piano, Tom Kozic on guitar, Ian Froman on drums, and viola by Missy Salvadeo. Listeners can expect to hear reimagined Christmas favorites, from the traditional “Carol of the Bells,” to Vince Guaraldi’s “Christmas Time is Here” (A Charlie Brown Christmas).

Mammana’s delightful Christmas original, “In the Christmas City” celebrates her hometown of Bethlehem, PA. With lyrics like “I don’t have to search too far for that holiday feeling, ‘cause standing right outside my door my heart’s already reeling,” and “sweet childhood memories in a holiday dream,” the song is sure to touch hearts and put listeners in the holiday spirit.

The new album was recorded at Red Rock Recording Studio (Saylorsburg, PA) with Kent Heckman in February 2021, August 2021 and June 2022. Edited, mixed and mastered by Nick de la Motte in Easton, PA.
